Top- Michael Star, Pants- Anthropologie, Sandals- K. Jacques similar, Bag- Here for similar, Hoops- Madewell, Necklace- Madewell, Sunglasses- Celine
I can’t believe it’s taken me over a week and a half after we got back from Mexico to post my outfits! Blame it on my husband getting a parasite in Mexico, being a mom, and it being the summer. Any one of those things is enough, but combined- woooooweeeee, it was a tough week and a half. And every mom, everywhere, said, AMEN!
I have a funny story: This is the outfit I wore to Mexico. When we were in Houston waiting to board the plane, we grabbed breakfast tacos (at Pappasitos, of course!). While we were checking out, the woman helping us asked us if we were headed to Mexico. I said, “Yah!” (with a surprised look on my face, like how did you know?), and she took her hand sweepingly over me like she was making a circle in the air and said, “She gave it way.” Y’all, I about died. It made me chuckle so hard inside. Busted. I bet she has so much fun guessing where people are headed. I know I always do, but she gets to actually ask!
Dress- LOVESHACKFANCY (in pink here), Sandals- K Jacques similar, Bag- Here for similar, Necklace- Madewell
Ever since my friend (@followtheleders) posted a picture of her LOVESHACKFANCY dress on her trip to the Bahamas, I’ve been looking for a reason/chance to purchase and wear one of their dresses! Since I was going to Mexico with my husband, I thought “here’s my chance!!” I was so excited to learn that @monkeesofhouston in Houston carries LOVESHACKFANCY because I really wanted to see, feel, and touch their products myself. I wanted to see if they were good quality and worth the splurge. I’m glad to report that the brand did not disappoint! The dresses are very good quality, and the fit is great.
Jumpsuit- Anthropologie, Sandals- TKEES, Sunglasses- Celine
The best part about this outfit: It’s darling, colorful, and comfortable. I love a jumpsuit to switch things up a bit. The worst part about this outfit: Going to the restroom. Honestly though, it was worth it. I wore it on a travel day because I like my legs to be covered. When I got cold, I threw on my summery sweater (and by summery, I mean that it’s like a fishnet with holes, which makes it summery in my mind 😂).
Top- Anthropologie, Skirt- AG for similar, Bracelet- Kendra Scott similar, Earrings- Madewell
I have to be honest, half the time I wear off the shoulder tops, I end up letting them do their thing- come onto my shoulder, like a normal top. But, it’s still cute either way, so why fight it? Btw, I love a long sleeve top for the summer. It sounds weird, but next time you go to dinner in a well air conditioned restaurant and you try to use the napkin as a blanket (true story), you’ll feel me.
Bikini Top- L Space here and here, Sarong- Here and here for similar, Sandals- TKEES, Bag- Here for similar, Visor- Free People, Sunglasses- Ray Ban similar, Earrings- Argento Vivo similar, Necklace- Madewell
This is the second color I own of this swimsuit top. I love this bikini top because it minimizes my large chest, but it’s still cute, and I feel comfortable in it. And I love that I can wear it frontwards and backwards! I wouldn’t say this is the most supportive large cup size bikini top, but it works for me. Also, I’m loving sarongs all over again this summer, and I can’t live without this visor!
Dress- Free People old, similar here, Sandals- TKEES, Visor- Free People, Bag- Here for similar, Sunglasses- Ray Ban similar, Hoops- Argento Vivo similar, Necklace- Madewell
This is hands down one of my favorite cover-ups of all time. It’s actually not a cover-up. It’s a sheer dress that came with a slip that I now use as a cover-up. Just an idea for you to reinvent a sheer dress you have in your closet!
