In the spirit of the festivities of the past weekend I thought I’d start with this outfit. It felt very all American, very Jackie O. I even paired it with my pearl earrings and my Mom’s gold chain rope necklace. I was inspired by the 4th of July!
Loving my Chiquita Banana top from Madewell (I don’t think there is actually a banana on the shirt). My boys love it, too!
This outfit reminds me of the old tennis outfits back in the day! Was I headed to tennis? No, just the grocery store -ha!
Y’all are going to think I’m crazy, but I get really cold in restaurants. Most of the restaurants in Texas pump the A/C, which my husband loves but it leaves me miserable- trying to eat as fast as I can so that I can get the heck out of there. When we were headed to get pizza on Friday, I knew just the pants I wanted to wear to keep me warm.
I had forgotten about all my “summery” belts!
Still loving my Old Navy jeans!
I love cream and brown with the turquoise, so I decided to throw on my cream shrug from this fall with my turquoise shorts. It ended up being pretty cold at the indoor playground I took my sons to but I had my sweater on, perrrrrfect!
I love to tuck my t-shirts into my maxi skirts! Well, we all know I love to wear t-shirts.
I also find church and the grocery store freezing and so the pants appear again! Don’t worry, I changed into flats for the grocery store after church. Yes, I am not the most graceful.
My red, white and blue outfit!
