SweaterI thought I’d start off this favorite finds post with an oldy, but a goody. Remember last fall when I posted on this sweater (here)? I haven’t been able to find it anywhere, but then, I was walking through Macy’s and there it was! I couldn’t believe it! It was like seeing a long lost friend! If you missed it last year, here is your chance!
ShirtIf you need a very versatile dressy shirt, look no further. I am in love with this shirt from Anthropologie. The detail on the front is sooooooo pretty, the weight of the fabric is perfect and it has buttons down the back.
BootiesThese booties are a total find! When I first discovered these boots, I was helping a frient (friend/client) in Nordstrom. It was one of those shoes that were a stunner on and checked so many boxes. Black bootie that showed the ankle, could be worn casually with black skinny jeans and just as easily with a dress/skirt, would look good with leather since there was suede and leather, the wedge made it more comfortable than a heel and the toe was perfectly pointed. When we brought them into the dressing room the sales associate immediately asked where she got her booties and the other night, when we were out, our friends were asking her where she got them. I’m telling you, they are awesome! If you are looking for a black bootie for the fall, these are perfect.
BeltOne of my favorite “go to” work outfits is a pencil skirt with a blouse tucked in and a belt over the skirt at the waist. I would do the same with some of my dresses to add a waistline. I love this belt for this reason. It’s adjustable in the back and adds a finishing detail to complete an outfit.
Necklace/BeltI was totally having a belt moment in Club Monaco. If you are looking for a black skinny belt I love this one. But then, of course, I couldn’t pass up a tassel necklace. It was just too cute the way half of it was black dipped. How many tassels can an individual have?!?!
EarringsLove these necklaces and earrings from J. Crew. Throw any of these on with an outfit and you’re automatically glamorous! Necklaces are in store only, not online.
Hobo/ToteAnd then I had a major purse moment at Nordstrom. It started off with Vince Camuto. I am crazy about 2 purses by him, here and here. If you are looking for a black cross body/tote you’ve got to check these out! I put one of the purses up next to the Alexander Wang bags (picture on the right) to show how similar the pebbled leather looks.
Orange Purse/Black ToteThen I had a Steve Madden moment. I love how the orange purse can be carried as a clutch or across the body. And the black tote is stylish and easy. Win, win.
I’m loving my black and white striped raglan tee pictured above!
JacketBomber jackets are really “in” right now and I am crazy about this one. It is navy/grey with black leather detailing, so cool. The picture online does not do this jacket justice.
DressThis dress is so perfect for so many different events- work, work event, church, luncheon, wedding, Christmas party, the list goes on and on.
ShirtThis is just such a classic shirt for any wardrobe. I like this one from the Gap in particular, because there is nothing that could possibly date this shirt. There are no embellishments and the cut is classic. It could be worn to work or casually and can easily be layered with any color of jacket or sweater on top.
Cover upI had to include this cover up. If you love sleep as much as I do, then you are right there with me on how hilarious this cover up is. My favorite thing to do on vacation is sleep. Yes, I know I’m missing the day, yatayatayata -ha!
