With warmer temperatures comes beautiful blooming flowers and all sorts of parties, lunches, brunches and weddings. It’s like we are coming out of hibernation -ha! Well, I’ll gladly participate, but I need a dress(es) first!!! I know I’m not the only one, because one of my friends sent me a dress S.O.S. text! It got me thinking, “If I’m in this situation and she’s in this situation, then you all are probably in the same situation”! So when Nordstrom asked me to check out their spring dresses, I gladly agreed. I ordered a whole bunch to my house- like waaaaay too many. Nordstrom just makes it so easy with free shipping and returns! I decided which ones were “keepers”, and you guys are seeing the best of the best! Yup, I went shopping for you! You’re welcome. 😉 But don’t worry, I loved every minute of it. Who doesn’t like playing dress up in pretty dresses?!?! Well, I do. Especially if I’m doing it for my friends (you)! I found too many “keepers”, so I’m posting the dressier dresses today and the more casual dresses tomorrow. Plus, I had to style them. I couldn’t help myself! First up is this perfectly spring dress. It’s like it’s saying no more winter- hello, spring! I have always loved Clover Canyon (post here), but it can be a tad expensive. So here are a few different ways you can wear it.

You can give a dress a completely different look by adding a top (sweater, denim shirt, crop top) over it! Here I paired it with a swing top, and it looks like I’m wearing separates!

A great way to take an outfit up a notch in sophistication is to add a blazer. This way you can wear it to work or church or out in the evening. Can someone say versatility?
P.S. If you aren’t crazy about showing your bare arms, consider both of these styling techniques.
Dress- 1.State, Shoes- Joe’s for similar
This is a great dress for a number of occasions. The little cut out detail at the top gives it a little bit of a trendy edge.

Pair this dress with a fun, colorful earring, and a bright colorful clutch and lip!
Dress- Tracy Reese, Shoes- Steve Madden, Earrings- Nordstrom, Ring- Nordstrom for similar
This dress makes such a statement all on its own, so I kept the accessories minimal with “diamond” hoops and a cocktail ring.Truth be told, this is how I would be wearing this dress by the end of the day (not off the shoulder). If you ask me, it looks just as good!
P.S. If you are looking for colorful off the shoulder dress that’s less expensive, I really like this one and this one.
Dress- Sanctuary, Sandals- here or here for similar, Earrings- Gorjana, Clutch- Nordstrom for similar
Nordstrom had a ton of really cute white dresses this season! I ordered quite a few, but this was my favorite. I liked the boho-y yet sweet, girly vibe. This one was a close second! I paired this dress with gold flat sandals, but it would look great with neutral wedge sandals (here or here), too!
Don’t forget to check back tomorrow for some flow-y/casual dress options!
Oh I just adore that off the shoulder dress!!!!??????
These dresses ALL look stunning on you!! And, I LOVE the way you styled them…a true gift! Thank you for the ideas!!!
