What are your plans this weekend? It’s supposed to be beautiful and sunny here, but it will get a little chilly at night. There’s lots of layering going on in this picture, but I need every single one of them! More about layering here. Last weekend we took the kids to a Rice University baseball game. If you’re looking for something fun to do with the family, check out your local college’s baseball schedule! We had a blast! We (me, my husband, my sister, and my bro-in-law- AKA the “adults”) sat on the bleachers while the kids played tag in the big grass area directly behind us! We had some adult time and the kids were happy, too. Win, win. Oh, and the kids (and I) were big fans of the Kona Sno-Cone truck! You could pour on your own flavor! Oh, and if you’re looking for something different to do with your guy this weekend, check out the Structured in Steel Exhibit. The audio guide is a must!
Outfit Links: Jacket- Madewell, Sweater- Rag & Bone for similar, Top- Lush, Jeans- here and here for similar, Shoes- Pedro Garcia (for splurge vs. steal), Earrings- Gorjana, Necklace- Anthropologie, Watch- Kate Spade, Bag- Banana Republic for similar,
Going somewhere a little more fancy this weekend? Here’s a dressier option. Right now, our favorite place to grab a nice meal is La Table. The “Tableside Heritage Chicken” is soooooo good. I know chicken can be boring, but not this chicken. Just trust me.
Does this dress look familiar? More about it here.

Love the jeans…are you wearing the Treasure & Bond pair or the Rag & Bone pair? I’m 5’10” so wondering if the Treasure & Bond pair would be too short? Thanks!!
Carly Lee says
Hi Lindsey, I’m wearing a pair by 7 For All Mankind that are no longer available. The inseam on the Rag & Bone pair is 30″ and the inseam on the Treasure & Bond pair is 25.5″. I think a 30″ inseam would be best for you. I hope this helps.
