First, I’d like to start off by saying you don’t have to buy anything from the #NSale. You just don’t. My very loyal friend shopped with me all Wednesday, and she didn’t buy a thing. With various recent expenditures, she didn’t feel comfortable making any purchases. It’s a good perspective to keep in mind and an admirable one, too.
BUT, if you were going to buy just one thing from the #NSale, this is it! If you’ve had a Barefoot Dreams sweater then I don’t need to say anything else. If you don’t have one, this is the softest sweater you will ever put on your body. It’s so soft that we have a name for it in my house- “the comfy cozy.” Both of my sons asked for one for Christmas. Speaking of, a Barefoot Dreams sweater would make great Christmas presents.
I have two Barefoot dreams sweaters, and I wear one of them every day with my pajamas. It’s basically my house sweater. I wear them so much that one has multiple holes in it and the other I accidentally ripped. I still wear them. But, obviously, I need a new one. Plus, this one has POCKETS!!!! It has POCKETS!!! I bought this blue one to match my pajamas, but now I want to buy the cream one.
Barefoot Dreams Cozychic Lite Circle Cardigan – I’m wearing a xs/s.
This one has pockets and a hood! You could wrap this one around you like a blanket. It’s like a chic Snuggie!

I probably tried every grey cardigan that is in the #NSale, and to me, this one fit the best. The other ones were itchy (even the cashmere ones) and fit too much like a tent for my taste.

Now, let’ talk Jackets.
If you ask me, this jacket looks so similar to the Mackage jacket that I purchased last year, but it costs a fifth of the price!

This is my favorite black leather jacket of the entire Sale. I like that there is not too much going on (i.e. shiny hardware, plus flaps, plus a belt with belt loops), so it is classic and versatile. I’m wearing a xs petite in this picture, which is why the arm length is a bit short. The xs regular was a perfect fit.

I wear my green jacket all the time. All. The. time. I love the way this one fits more than the green jacket I already have. I love that there is a string to cinch the waist in a bit, and I love that it has a stand up collar. I always pop the collar on the green jacket I have right now. In other words, I like this green jacket a lot. Ha!
Madewell Catskill Jacket – I’m wearing an xs.
Does this jacket look familiar? I originally posted it here. I wear it all the time when I workout and when I don’t. Ha! It covers everything you need it to. Need I say more?
The North Face Neo Knit Jacket – I’m wearing an xs.
Oh my goodness, this was the softest little jacket I’ve ever put on. If jackets are usually tight on your shoulders and itchy and you just don’t like wearing them that much, this is your jacket. It’s super stretchy and soft, and look how cute it looks under this vest…
Zella Well Played Zip Fleece Hoodie – I’m wearing an xs.
I have a black puffer vest I wear all the time. Sometimes you just need a little added warmth under your jacket or instead of a jacket. Am I right? I’m loving this grey color!
Patagonia Los Gatos Fleece Vest – I’m waring an xs.
While we are talking about vests, how darling is this vest?!? I love vests because you can wear a pretty plain outfit and adding a vest will take it up a notch! Plus this one would look good with a dress, dress pants, a skirt, or jeans. Ok, so everything.

Next up, sweaters!
I mean, how cute are the sleeves on this sweater? You don’t really have to think about your outfit when you’re wearing this sweater because it is so cute, it stands alone.

I am a sucker for loose, lightweight, flow-y sweaters. It’s what I always end up reaching for because thick sweaters can make me feel kinda bulky.

Next up, tops!
I told myself I would not buy one more cold shoulder top. But I caved. This top is super soft, a great price, and I love it’s casual, effortless vibe. I had to have it. I’ll be wearing it ASAP.
BP. Cold Shoulder Shirt – I’m wearing an xxs.
I love this dressy white top! The collar on this top is just darling. If you are a big fan of white oxfords to pair with pants, skirt, and jeans, this top would be great to add to your mix.
Halogen Gathered Neck Blouse – I’m wearing an xs petite.
The tailored, classic, clean lines of this top remind me of something by Tibi. But it’s NOT by Tibi, which is a really, really great thing because the price is right! Wear this top with jeans or work pants and you’ve got yourself a cute outfit!
Halogen Poplin Peplum Top – I’m wearing an xs.
This top is just too cute. It’s going to look darling with jeans and tennis shoes, and since that’s what I wear most, I had to get it. Plus, I’m on a red, white, and blue kick.
Elodie Stripe Sweatshirt – I’m wearing an xs.
I am not a fan of tops that I can’t wear a regular bra with, but here’s the thing- in the dead of winter, I get tired of being covered up and find myself wanting to wear something cute on date night. I figured I could wear this under a jacket and then take the jacket off and feel cute in an off the shoulder top.

Next up, dresses.
This dress is easy and cute. It would pretty much fit any body type. You could wear black booties to edge it up or heels if you needed to be conservative. It’s just easy.
Halogen Button Back Ruffle Hem Dress – I’m wearing an xs, and it’s sold out in this color. But, Navy/Burgundy is available, and I actually like it better.
Shirt dresses are just easy. I have one, and I wear it all the time. I’ll wear it with a black leather jacket and black sneakers in the fall, and I’ll wear it with sandals in the summer. I love to wear my shirt dress when I travel. It’s like I’m wearing pajamas.
J. Crew Cotton Shirt Dress – I’m wearing an xs.

Oh my gosh, am I really going to post this picture?!? Hahahaha! We were being so silly in the dressing room. I loved this pardon my french tee so much that I wanted my friends to put a mustache on me from Snapchat, and this is what they ended up doing. Uh-huh. Nice. I do like how it added makeup though. Ha! Anyway, we all bought this t-shirt because we loved it so much!

So this is my first time posting. I have read and followed you for about 3 years…since I was put on 5 months bedrest with my third child’s pregnancy and had two under two already…God is so good- we was prepping me to let go of stuff that wasn’t important (you know, fluffing your couch pillows next to the gigantic Duplo Lego tower you’re too tired to pick up)- anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for making the point that nothing NEEDS to be purchased. Don’t get me wrong, Nordstrom is my favorite store, but budgeting and living within one’s means and working towards all sorts of goals is important and discipline can be hard, but it creates tanacitu and strength.
Sometimes I see items you purchase that are out of my range, but I always appreciate how you teach others how to make small tweaks to make an outfit have personality and that you’re honest. God bless! Thanks!

I bought the Zella zip hoodie in grey because it is so darn soft. It reminds me of a lighter version of the Barefoot Dreams sweaters, as it was super comfy!
