Top- Jim James Concert Tee, Leggings- DYI, Sneakers- Nike similar, Necklace- Madewell and vintage
I’m just as excited about this trick as I was about Monday’s “How to “Wear a Top that is Too Low Cut” trick! Check out my work-out tee, isn’t it so cute?!!! It used to be an ill fitting tee that was just hanging around in my drawer. I’d always look at it and wish it fit better because I love the graphic on it and wanted to wear it! Well, I was about to give it away when I thought how cute it would be as a work-out top!
So, I grabbed a work-out top I liked the fit of and mimicked the design.
I went to town with my scissors…
As you can see, it’s not a smooth cut. The edges are pretty ragged, but it doesn’t matter because once you wash it, the edges roll in and and you can’t see them. (check out first picture of post to see)
I cut off the bottom hem and tried it on. I decided I wanted it shorter, so I cut again…
…and viola! I have a new, really cute (if I don’t say so myself ) work-out top without spending a dime!
So I’d say…
Leggings- Onzie similar, Top- Jim James, Sandals- Birkenstocks, Glasses- Goodr
…Hip! Hip! Hooray!
P.S. Head to Instastories tomorrow to see the J.Crew graphic tee I did this to!
