I’ve noticed a recent trend in the stores (or one particular clothing item I’m seeing everywhere. Does that make it a trend?), and it’s one that I’m all here for!!! The black cotton dress! I’m here for it because it’s one of those items that is perfect for so many occasions! You can wear it to work (especially since work attire is so much more casual after covid), to run errands, to church, and it can also take you from a luncheon to the ball field, too! It works for practically everything- even travel!!! I bought one (pic above) at my friend Selina’s boutique, Frock Shop here in Houston, and I’m loving it! I’ve already gotten a ton of wear out of it!

As a side note, my new black dress is making a serious case for becoming a new wardrobe staple. I’m going to noodle on this thought for awhile.
