Father’s Day?!?!- I’ve got you covered

I’m not the only shopper in my family. My husband has great taste and loves nice, quality things. Some of you have asked me to do a post for your husbands (or your husbands have asked me) and this is my attempt. Well, consider my husband your personal “Father’s Day” shopper. Here are the items he loves! If you order now, they’ll be on your doorstep by Father’s Day.

Who wouldn’t want to feel like they are getting a close shave everyday, like the old timey barber shop gives you? My husband likes Jack Black beard lube the best, because it’s less expensive than the others and he can’t tell the difference.

Filson bags (here or here), as they say themselves, are “practically indestructible…witnessed by the fact that they have been passed down from fathers to sons to grandsons.” Now, what father wouldn’t want a bag that he could pass down to his son?!?! Not to mention that the bags just look good. It’s perfect for overnight hunting or golf trips.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I love these tennis shoes. This was my perfect solution to get my husband out of the grey, frat boy looking New Balance and into a shoe that was hip but not too edgy- still on the conservative side. And, of course, they are still the great quality of New Balance. Well, too bad they don’t make them in a size 14 -ha!

This is one of my favorites! For years my husband wore Old Spice High Endurance deodorant. It was so overpowering that every time I went to hug him that’s all I would smell and it would sting my nose- you know what I’m talking about?!?! Well, we ran across this deodorant while staying at a nice hotel and its amazing! Now I actually buy it for him when he’s out because I love it so much. Stingy nose, no more!

This is what he’s asked for this year. Unlike me, he actually uses his bags- he will put the wine bottles in this nice bag and be ready to go to a party. We’ll arrive looking oh so put together. I, on the other hand, would just grab the bottles and have them clinking on the floor board. I guess that’s why we are the perfect match -ha!

My husband has struggled for years to find nice dress shirts. He even went the custom fit route. But, none are as nice as these ETON dress shirts. He gets the contemporary fit, but they have other fit options. The first time I saw him in this shirt I said, “Wow, that’s a nice shirt”. I don’t think I had ever noticed a men’s dress shirt before in my entire life -ha!

My brother-in-law purchased this Jack Spade (Kate Spade) briefcase last year and every time I see it I think, “Man that’s a cool briefcase”. It’s still conservative in color (the perfect tobacco color) and material, but has great functionality with the shoulder strap option. It’s the perfectly updated briefcase.

I love a good slip on shoe for guys, whether it be a boat shoe or these very cool slip on shoes from ECCO– the maker of high end golf shoes. There are just some occasions when a flip flop just doesn’t cut it and these are the perfect solution. My husband purchased this combo and, well, what can I say- he looks really good when he wears them!
