For the Impossible Dad

Do you have a dad in your life that’s practically impossible to buy for? Well, I do, and it’s not my dad (he wants a Bass Pro Shop gift card every time), it’s my husband -ha! So, if you’re like me and need to please a picky dad, I have a great gift idea for you! A couple of years ago we started looking for some flip flop alternatives for my husband, and since then we can’t stop. Flip flops are cool, but sometimes a casual pair of shoes are better. Here are few of my favorites:

No matter what your dad’s style is — preppy, sporty, edgy or original — one of these pairs are bound to please! The bottom row are the old school Vans, and they are making a come back. Yup, can you believe? Now, you know that will make some guys super excited. It will take them back to the good ole’ days -ha! The top row starts with a classic pair of navy Converse. I love that this pair doesn’t have laces. And who doesn’t love a pair of Converse? My personal favorite is the suede pair of K-Swiss. K-Swiss and Billy Reid collaborated for this pair of shoes. Need I say more? And the top right are Swims. Have you ever heard of Swims? Their shoe concept is amazing! They are rubber on the bottom and mesh on the top. Yes, they are the perfect flip flop alternative! Perfect for the beach, pool, back yard etc.

Shhhhh, I’ve had this post in my mind for a couple of weeks, so I’ve been sneakily taking pictures of my husband in his various casual shoes. I wanted you all to see what they look like on. They’re are not the most professional looking pictures, but in the end, sometimes you just need to see them on someone, you know?
