I spent way too much time accessorizing this outfit in my closet, but I loved every minute of it -ha! And I really liked what came out of all the time I spent in there! I liked it so much that I had to share. I’d seen lots of people double up their necklaces, but I didn’t think I had that “look” in my closet. It turns out I did! I originally had on my MK “statement necklace“, but I felt the outfit needed a little more bling to tie in the white in the skirt. So, I added J. Crew’s venus fly trap necklace on top, and viola!

Then I added a bracelet that has both gold and bling to tie it all together. I also like the gold dot earrings! But while I was looking at this picture, I realized how cute this exact outfit would be with a pair of black pants or jeans. It’s all because of the accessories. It reminded me of this pin that went crazy on Pinterest (I pinned it, too)….

How easy and chic is this?! An all black outfit with an awesome necklace. Well, now I feel better about all the time I spent figuring out my accessories that day! Now I can just throw them on with all black when I need a cute outfit, but I don’t have time to think. You see, I’ve already thought about it! Hopefully this gives you some inspiration for a cute weekend outfit!
Here is this picture, because well, it’s hilarious. Picture is not zoomed in or enlarged on purpose! Ha!
Carly, I’m laughing so hard at that last picture! Chris took a picture of me the other day at the ranch house, and I look SO BAD that I swear it’s not even me. SERIOUSLY fugly. Love your whole outfit, and especially the double necklaces. I wore THREE necklaces yesterday, all of varying lengths, and I loved the look!
That picture is crazy funny. Love your outfit.
I’ve been doing the layered blingy necklace trend, but I like how you paired the bling with a solid gold necklace. Brilliant!
Thanks, Kristin!
