Not Just a Pretty Dress

I have a confession to make, and it’s a little embarrassing. I used to have a negative attitude towards luncheons…like I certainly would not click on a post that was titled “luncheon dress”. But I keep growing as a person. You see, as I have been sitting in luncheon rooms with all the dressed up ladies, I realized it’s about way more than that. It’s about people who have a call in their hearts that is so strong that they actually decide to do something about it. It’s sometimes hard to see with all the glitz around a luncheon, but that is really what it’s about. And you know what? I have had some pretty profound moments sitting in those luncheons, listening to a well known speaker or just a mom speaking from her heart. So let’s just consider this my coming out luncheon dress. Move over standard luncheon Carly and standard luncheon attire! This sister has a new attitude and a dress to match.
