If I had a fall uniform, this would be it. Denim on denim is the base layer for a ton of my fall/winter outfits- specifically the chambray shirt. I wear it under ponchos, sweaters, open cardigans, blazers, flannels and even my ski jacket! It’s no wonder I wore a hole in the armpit of my last chambray shirt. Rippppp! Can you hear it? I was so deflated. It happened over a year ago, and ever since, I have been looking for a new chambray shirt that I like just as much. Well, I didn’t find it last year, but I found it this fall! It’s the perfect wash, fit and weight! Just wait, you are going to see it on the blog all the time. ALL. THE. TIME.
Am I the only one who didn’t know that denim on denim is also known as the Canadian Tuxedo? Sometimes I feel like I live under a rock. Oh, and am I the only one who forgot that Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears dated? If you clicked on the Canadian Tuxedo link, you know what I’m talking about. Hilarious, no?
Look! It’s so comfy I can even twirl in it. Ha! You know what else I like? The monochromatic look. Even my earrings are blue- ha! Talk about easy.
Happy Monday!

Of course I love everything you post- question about the shirt- the one your wearing looks darker, is it the same shirt in your link? Thanks
Cathy
I noticed that too, so I checked the item number on my shirt to make sure I linked to the correct one. It is the same shirt. I think my pictures are a truer representation of the shirt. Maybe I just ended up with a darker one?
Thanks so much!!!!!
Beautiful post – love it.
Thank you, Sandy!😘
Love the outfit — I ordered the shoes and have been made into a big Madewell fan thanks to you. 🙂 Love your style and cute blog!
Thanks for your sweet comment, Megan! It makes me happy.
My shirt just arrived–it looks great! Mine is darker like yours. The weight and fit are perfect. Thank you for the recommendation.
Yay! I’m so glad you are happy! That makes me happy! Thank you for letting me know!
