How to Wear Your Summer Tops in The Fall

First, let’s just talk about how cute this pink top is. It’s made of cotton (aka breathable), it’s not tight (aka comfortable), and it’s darling (aka you feel good in it -ha!). Now let’s talk about the color pink. It’s everywhere this fall, which isn’t surprising because it was everywhere this spring/summer! Remember this post?  So, what’s the easiest way to wear our pink, or any other top for that matter, from the spring/summer in the fall/winter?

Pair it with black! Plus, it’s super chic to do right now anyway. But really, pairing any of your more summery tops with black is an easy way to use your wardrobe all year round. Now, what’s the easiest way to make a short sleeved/quarter length sleeved tops warm enough to wear in the fall/winter?

Wear a chambray shirt under it! What perfect timing, because I have a new favorite chambray shirt -ha!

I purchased this pink top last week, and I wore it 3 days straight…even though it had a stain after the first day. Yup, I wore it anyway. In the first pictures, I wore the pink top with black to a birthday luncheon. Yes, sneakers and all. Then we had a cool front come in the next day, so I wore it to an appointment with the chambray shirt under. I liked how it looked so much, I wore it for my Christmas card photos! Then on date night with black pants again! Do you think I like my new pink top? Ha! Who says you can’t wear pastels and short sleeves in the fall?
