2 Fall Staples

You are going to see me in two items from this picture ad nauseam. No really, it’s going to be like my black high tops all over again. Ha! What can I say? I’m no stranger to repeats. Do I dare call them staples for the season? Well, my friend did. I ran into a friend who was describing an outfit she wore to a 40th birthday, and she said,” I wore the coated jeans you posted about last year, and those things have become a staple in my closet”. Well, me too.It’s no surprise because these jeans are super comfortable. Coated denim comfy? Yes. Therefore, they work very well for every day, but they are also the perfect go-to when you want to be a little bit dressier (or shall I say hip?) than regular black jeans. They add that extra oomph. Case and point- this outfit is basically jeans and a tee shirt, but the coated denim instantly make this casual outfit more hip! No?

The second item you are about to see me in ad nasuem (aka continued ‘to [the point of] nausea, hahahahaha!) are these boots. I have been wearing them a ton! They are made by UGG, so obviously they’re very comfy. I love my old, original UGGS so much that I now wear them as slippers in my house! But here’s the thing, the mid day UGG foot sweat is a problem for me here in Texas. But it isn’t with this pair, and they are waaaaaaayyyyyy more stylish. Plus, they remind me of this edgy street style look I’ve always loved.

Just in case you were wondering, I really do only curl the front part of my hair, and it’s super obvious in this picture! Hahaha! Well, the only part I have to look at is the front.

Once the sun began to beat down on me, I had to take my leather jacket it off. But guess what wasn’t sweating? My feet!

Just order them to the house, try them on, and send a picture of yourself in them to a stylish girlfriend. I have seen coated denim look fantastic on so many! But in the end, whether you try coated denim or not, it doesn’t really matter. Ha!
