My idea for this post was just to write about my favorite new jean jacket because it’s the perfect fit, color and weight (it’s not too heavy and is easy to move around in), but then I got to thinking about all my favorite jackets and how many I have. Then that got me thinking about how much I wear jackets, which then got me thinking about how much I love jackets. And all of that got me thinking about how important jackets are in a wardrobe!  (Phew, I’m exhausted from too much thinking. Hahaha!) After much thought (ha!), I know why. Jackets can add an extra oomph to an outfit, they can add a stylish layer of warmth, they can lend a bit of security (a security blanket, if you will- ha!), and they can define a waistline! Here are the jackets I have in my closet right now. All of these jackets are in constant rotation and were purchased with a lot of thought. You know I can’t just buy something, I have to love it, it has to fit well, and it has to be on trend but not too trendy. Oh gosh, I exhaust myself.
I have the army green jacket in an xs. I have the blue jean jacket in an xs. I have the tan suede jacket in an xs, but I wish I had the small. I also wish I had it in the toffee color, or maybe the parchment color, for spring . I have the bomber jacket in an xs.  I purchased the black jacket in an xs.
I have 3 black jackets, and yes, I wear them all the time. Unfortunately all 3 of my black jackets are no longer available. Â But I found a new, perfect black jacket for you guys. It’s so perfect, I bought it with the intention of returning it because I already have three… Righhhhht. Here are a few pictures of it. I am wearing an xs.

Ooooooo, Kauai! I’ve always wanted to go to Kauai! This is a great post idea. I’ll try my hardest to do a post geared toward resort wear. If I run out of time, please forgive me.

Ooh, glad I asked! Think I might try the black too- jacket looks so cute and also soft. I’ve noticed that when I wear really soft tops, I get more hugs from hubby and kids – Ha!
Tiny blog idea- perhaps you could make a special note when you feature a top with a relaxed fit, for those of us (moi!) wanting to disguise a wee bit of pooch. If this would be too much trouble, ignore- I’ll still be hooked to your fantastic blog. Thanks for making looking cute easier and more fun!

The black jacket is seriously perfect! My mom bought it in the camo pattern today and I tried it on. Some jackets are so bulky or annoying that you want to take them off, but this one is as soft and cozy as a cardigan! I love it!
Yes, I felt the same way! I saw the camo online and now I kinda want that one…. Eeeeek!

Just curious I ordered the black moto jacket in extra small it seems to fit you well just curious of your measurements weight height??…I didn’t know if I should have gotten a petite extra small??:)
