There’s no doubt that using my straw tote was inspired by my incessant scrolling on Pinterest. I saw all these super chic women with these cute straw bags, and then I remembered that I have a straw tote! It may not be as beautiful as the really pretty ones I was seeing on Pinterest, but it sure is functional! I wore this to my sons’ swim meet, and I was able to throw in their goggles, sunblock, swim team shirts, swimmer’s ear drops, and all my stuff, too! I was even able to stuff my straw hat in there when I wasn’t wearing it.
The only drawback is that it’s open on the top, so all the world can see what’s in your purse. I’ve been using a colorful pouch I got at Furbish to stash all the things I want to keep in one place.

On this day, I was pms-ing, and for the life of me, I couldn’t figure out what to wear. When in doubt, I wear jeans and a t-shirt. The straw bag makes my outfit look way more chic than it actually is. Am I right?
