Wearing – MAC Relentlessly Red lipstick & YSL baby doll Kiss & blush #5
When I posted about my new eyeliner like crazy on Instatories last week (I couldn’t help it), I received lots of questions about my blush and lipstick combo (seen here).
Wearing- Relentlessly Red on lips and cheeks (it’s worn off in this pic, but I still received lots of questions)
Thank you! I have to say you all made me feel pretty darn good because I had just purchased it the day before! Gotta love positive reinforcement! Then my beauty blogger friend (Kathleen Jennings Beauty) commented on it, and I was over the moon! A beauty blogger commented on MY makeup! Wahoo!
I told my new friend at the MAC counter, Meme, that I wanted a red for the spring/summer, and when I tried on Relentlessly Red, we all freaked out. I did a happy dance right there in the store. You know you’ve found a good color when you do a happy dance. It has enough red in it that it isn’t like the neon pink of the 80’s. I’d say it’s a poppy color.
You can see all the different Insastories where I’m wearing this lipstick in my highlight called “New 💄💋” In most of the stories I’m wearing MAC Relentlessly Red on my lips and as my blush, and I’ve been wearing a new lip liner, MAC Chic Trick. I’ve also been wearing my new YSL Kiss And Blush #5.
Wearing- YSL baby doll Kiss and Blush #5 on both lips and cheeks.
Then I’ve received lots of questions about some of my new earrings.
I purchased these earrings from my friend @luckypeacockdesigns or shopluckypeacock.com for $25 each! I thought these would make great girlfriend gifts! They are lightweight, provide a statement or pop of color, and they are a great price! #nobrainer I’m wearing them in the pics above.

I know I’ll wear these earrings all the time in the summer. I love to wear black, and I usually need an accessory that helps the black look summery. These will do the trick! I also love all the colors they offer. I think they’ll look so pretty with all my Mexican embroidered tops, too.
Then I posted this on Instastories…
…and I received so many questions about the book I was reading. It’s by far one of my favorite books ever. “Lord, I Want To Be Whole” is one of the books that helped me work through my childhood the most. It was recommended to me by my counselor.
Now, here’s my question to you-
I’m thinking about getting a lob after reading this article… Does anyone have one? Is it hard to manage?
I hope you’re having a great week! Spring Break is almost here!

I’m just worried it will be too much work. Eeeek! But I agree with you, it’s such a cute cut!

I think that cut would be SO DARN CUTE on you!! I’ve been following you a while and have always thought you had the perfect face for shorter hair. My hunch is that your face will light up even more 🙂
