I have to be honest, I had a hole burning in my pocket for some really cool, summer clothes. It’s been so hot here, and everything I put on seems so hot! Maybe it was a bit of a retaliation from looking at a ton of fall clothes for the NSale… who knows. But, what I do know is I’ve got a good two more months of sweltering heat to dress for, so I needed some cool clothes! Well, I hit the jackpot at Madewell!

I wear my Madewell Central tops all the time. This is now my 6th Central top, and I’m not usually one to buy multiples of one item. This is one of those no fail shirts. It’s the shirt that always works when you’ve tried everything else on in your closet. It’s an oversized fit, so definitely go down a size. I’m wearing an xxs.
Where were these shorts all summer?!? I bought them in green, black and denim. They are perfect with t-shirts and flip-flops for running around. I will wear these a ton! I’m wearing an xxs.

I love the colors in this shirt! It just pretty and happy! I could wear it with lots of different bottoms- jeans, black denim skirt, white shorts, etc. In the fall, I will wear it with grey jeans and my new NSale shoes. So cute, right? I’m wearing an xxs.
A sleeveless grey tee that can be worn with everything, arm holes are not too big, and is not see through? Yes, please! I’m wearing an xxs.
P.S. The shirt dress hanging behind me was super cute, but too short for me and my sis (she’s 5′ 6″).

I like how this top doesn’t hug my middle but still gives me a waistline. It has the same effect as a sloppy tuck, but it’s something original for a tee. Plus, it’s a pretty pink! I’m wearing an xs.

This white tee is the same as the pink one, but I untied the knot and tucked it in! I’m really loving the crew necks on these tees! I’m wearing an xs.
You know how sometimes you need to be a little dressy, but you want a relaxed look that’s not too over done? This is exactly why I like this skirt! I like it with this tee or a relaxed tank top and flip-flops or my NSale shoes! I’m wearing an xs.
I really love this blouse! It’s perfect for date night because it’s feminine and pretty without being over the top! I was a little too busty for it though. I’m wearing a small.
This top is such a winner! My sis, my aunt and I all bought this top! I plan to wear it sloppy tucked with some high waisted jeans and fun earrings! I’m wearing an xxs.

I also picked up a new purse while shopping! I love my new purse (at Nordstrom here) because I can wear it across the body or like a handbag! This neutral color goes with so many of my outfits right now. They also have it in a medium size (at Nordstrom here)! My sis got that one instead because she needed a bit more room!
