It looks like I’m not the only one who fell in love with J. Crew’s Snow Leopard Jacket! After posting it, a sweet reader emailed and asked if I had some suggestions on how to wear it, other than all black (as shown on the J. Crew model). Well, you know how I love styling questions like this! Here are my suggestions:
Looks from left to right:
Looks 1 and 2 reminded me that olive and burgundy look great with animal print. I have a pair of green jeans and a pair of burgundy jeans I love, so I’d pair them with my favorite (lightweight) black turtleneck and black shoes. How easy is that? I sound like Ina!
Look 3 (middle) makes me want to mix animal prints all fall/winter long. She looks so darn chic, which is why I am officially looking for another animal print to mix and match with my new jacket, and I just found this scarf! Oooooo, wait! I already have some darling animal print shoes and belt!
Look 4 reminds me how chic an all white outfit would look with an animal print jacket. I’d love to wear a white tee with white jeans, a black bootie and my new jacket on top!
Look 5 reminds me of the age old pop of red trick! If you ask me, this trick might just shine best with animal print! I think I could wear my new favorite black skinnies, black turtleneck and a red lip! I don’t have a pair of red shoes, but I might need to get a pair -ha! Wait, I could wear my red sneakers!
