It’s Friday!!! Wahoo! I hope you all have a great weekend! Here’s what I’ve found while out and about shopping in the last month.
I’ve been looking for a clunky-ish pair of white sneakers (it seems the clunkier the better these days. Hello, Gucci and the giant air bubble under the heel, a la Balenciaga) that don’t cost $600, that can give me the big white sneaker look to wear with my skirts and dresses, and that still feel like me. After ordering the Nike Air Force 1’s, Puma’s and Van’s, I was deflated, until my (young) sister-in-law told me about these Frye sneaks! YAY!!! I found the perfect pair of white sneakers that give me the look without breaking the bank!
All summer long I was looking for a plain, faded black denim skirt. I didn’t want it to have any interesting detail. I just wanted it to be plain, so it would stand the test of time. Well, low and behold, I found it at the end of summer! It’s actually a new arrival at Madewell, which seemed weird to me. But then I remembered how long it stays warm in the fall and how I could pair it with a sweater and booties, so I felt justified making the purchase!
I found a new favorite t-shirt, and I wasn’t even looking for one! My sister and I were shopping, and I came across this tee. I wasn’t all that impressed with it on the hanger (as is the case with most tees), but I tried it on anyway. I’m sure glad I did because the material is perfect (not see through and not too clingy) and the cap sleeve is darling!

This t-shirt is one of those purchases that may not be very exciting at first, but once I saw how many times I was able to wear it, I was so happy to have it!
This dress is t-shirt material, the V isn’t too low, and the sleeves are so cute and add interest. Winner!
I can’t stop wearing these jeans! I can wear them with sandals, sneakers and mules. For sizing reference, I am 5’8″.
I specifically love Paige waxed denim because they’re really comfy (like leggings). Then I saw they’re offered in army green, and I’m in!
This dress has 4.9 stars with 16 reviews, and it’s offered in plus sizes. Need I say more?!?
I love a classic black bag with no hardware (staying power) that has an option crossbody! Just wait until you see the price!

This is what I’ve seen while out and about shopping in various places! What’s your favorite? I have too many, but my favorite is probably the tees because they’re on sale and I’ve already worn them a ton!

Hi Annie, I did not buy the tote because I just bought a new tote during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. But, I would probably purchase the gold tote because I have a black and pink tote. HTH!! The green top is by Cloth and Stone (link here http://bit.ly/345Bgf0). I didn’t link to it in the post because I found it was too short for my liking. Otherwise, it’s super cute!
