If you don’t think you’re the bootie wearing type, I understand. I was completely in your boat, but started to come around to the idea at the end of last winter. Then, my Aunt (who is in her 60’s, btw) shows up wearing them last weekend, and I was convinced! But, if you need a little bit more convincing, check out the collage below.
These outfits feel very attainable to me. They are like everyday outfits that have been taken up a notch with a bootie. I’ve also been inspired by so many of my clients! Whether they are wearing them with a super skinny jean tucked in, with a good ole fashion peg roll, with a single or multiple tight cuff or with a dress, they always look adorable (not to mention, very hip)! Needless to say, I’m in for this season.
Splurge, Splurge (Left)/ Steal, Steal (Right)
I love the Rag & Bone Bootie (left) and I’m not the only one -ha! I especially love both of these booties in particular, because they show the ankle. It creates a nice line because you can still see the narrow part of the leg. So, if you are a full fledge bootie lover and you’ve been looking for the perfect pair to “invest” in, well you can’t go wrong with these. And, for those of you who just want to try out a bootie or who aren’t looking to make an “investment”, the steal version (right) is perfect for you!
This time last year I never would have even considered wearing a bootie…but I now have 1 pair, and I can’t wait for a 2nd pair for Christmas!
I’ve been trying to convince myself to take the plunge and try wearing booties. I might have to get the “steal” booties!! These ladies all look adorable in the inspiration pics….we’ll see if I can pull it off!
I love booties and got some flat ones a few months ago. They certainly take your outfit up a notch.
