I find it hard to dress in Houston during October and November, because the weather varies so much. In the morning it will be between 50-60 and by the afternoon it can be in the low 90’s! A very small problem, but it makes getting dressed difficult sometimes. So, I’ve decided to start looking at it like I live on the coast of California -ha!
I like to wear sandals, so when it gets to be 80 in the afternoon my feet stay cool -ha! I also like to wear tank tops under a jacket, so I can shed my jacket in the afternoon, too!
Denim on denim is so comfortable to me.
This outfit was inspired by all of my friends at my boys school. They all looked adorable in their casual camo, so guess what I wore the next day?
Well, it IS my new favorite shirt (post here).
I rolled my black skinny jeans to give them a more casual look to go with my tee. Also, it looks like someone needs to wash their Converse -ha!
On this day, it was sunny skies but with a chill in the air, so it inspired me to wear my white jeans!
I wore this on a Saturday morning when I was not in the mood to get “dressed”. I just wanted to stay in my pj’s! And, what’s the next best thing? Leggings and a comfy sweater! I was ok that the shirt didn’t “cover”, because the sweater did:)
I love the way blue oxfords look with black and blue jeans! I wore the sweater when it was cool and took it off as the day wore on.

Flannel from day to night… Can I just say how much I enjoyed wearing flannel to go out at night? It was so cozy -ha!
