Spring Flare

I want sunny days and bright skies so badly I can barely stand it. But by golly, even if Spring still isn’t here, I will force Spring to arrive by wearing colorful outfits. I recently went shopping with my cousin and aunt, and found these amazing flowers. It was a perfect photo op, even if I felt really awkward as all the cars drove by -ha!

I know you’ve seen me in these flares before, but have you all been noticing how flares are everywhere in stores?!?! YAY!!! I am so excited that the over exaggerated flares are making a strong come back, especially in lighter washes! I was working with a client yesterday who has amazing curves and she purchased these. They looked phenomenal on her! And my SIL passed up this pair last summer and has regretted it ever since. When she put them on in the dressing room, I went nuts. You should have see them on her! I still love the pair I have (in the picture), but I think I’m going to invest in another pair with a lighter wash for the spring/summer.

So do you need to wear heals with the flares?

Hi Alison, Not necessarily, but the heel gives a longer/leaner leg line. I hope this helps.

Love that J Crew top! Alex and Ani bracelets are some of my favorites, they are so perfect for stacking!

I just got rid of my boot cut and replaced with all skinny or ankle jeans. Does this mean skinnies are on the out?
