Favorite Finds

Here are some of my favorite finds from my recent shopping excursions.

It’s almost like I could just end this post right here. These shoes. These shoes! I just love them! You know I’m not a big heel wearer, but when the heels are this pretty, I’ll find a ton of reasons to wear them -ha! Plus, I’ve been noticing some really cute outfits with brightly colored sandals paired with skinny jeans that have a matching accessory or shirt (or even a flannel tied around the waist). Maybe I’ll do a post on the look:)

If you are looking for a light colored skinny jean, look no further. I keep going back to these jeans when I’m shopping with clients because they win every time. These Genetic jeans are the most comfortable jeans in the world. Seriously, they are like soft leggings. Plus, they are super stretchy and forgiving, which one needs with a light wash. (wink, wink.)
I am a huge fan of the jewelry at Madewell. I think they have designs that are original, unique, and interesting. The necklace on the left is so cool because it’s actually two necklaces! One side is turquoise, and one side is black. How awesome is that?!?! If you only buy one necklace a year, this should be your necklace. It can add the finishing touch to so many outfits. I just got the necklace on the right from my S-I-L. She knows me so well. I’ve never seen a necklace like it before. To me, it looks like a necklace made by a local artist, but for a fifth of the price -ha! What a great gift idea! Oh, and their necklaces can be adjusted in length. I really love this feature!

It’s really hard for me to find a black cotton shirt. I feel like I can find black silk or silky type black shirts, but not cotton. Well, leave it up to one of my favorite t-shirt brands at Anthropologie — Bordeaux. I love that this one is slightly dressier than a regular black tee because of the collar and drape.

There are a few favorite finds in this picture. My Miansai bracelet (that I had to have after seeing it on my friend) is becoming an everyday staple. Then another friend had on this pretty pink nail polish that I had to try out for myself. It was a little different for me, and it took some time to warm up to, but with all your encouragement on Instagram, I’m starting to love it! And I love this band my husband bought me for our anniversary. Sometimes I like the simplicity of just wearing a single band.

This is the most comfortable dress ever. I love that it’s not tight, not too short, and cotton. Yup, it’s super comfortable and, not to mention, universally flattering. If you are in a “transition” phase, this is the perfect dress. If not, it’s still the perfect dress. Ha!

How cute are these shorts?!?! You know in the Summer when you want to be in shorts but you need to be a little dressier than just regular jean or cotton shorts? Ding, ding, ding! Plus, just look at that floral print… it screams happy!
