Let’s talk about bright, pretty, striped beach towels on this Monday morning, shall we? Maybe we should all close our eyes and envision the warm sun all around us while we lay on the beach (Do you feel like you’re in yoga class?). That made your Monday better, no? Ha! In all seriousness, let’s talk about a really great deal on Turkish beach towels! I was first introduced to Turkish beach towels this past summer when the beach house we stayed in had them for us to use. I looked at these thin (yet pretty) beach towels and was upset with myself for not packing our own towels! Well, after one use, I understand why everyone loves them! Yes, they are thin, but it’s actually an advantage! They are really large like a bath sheet, but they can still fit easily into a beach bag! This made my beach bag much easier to carry, since it wasn’t overflowing! And although they are thin, they are super absorbent (dare I say more so than other beach towels) and soft (they get softer with each wash)! Needless to say, I was sold. I took a picture of the website on the tag, so I could purchase them when I got home. But I was sorely disappointed when I found out they were over $50 a towel! So, when I found these Turkish beach towels for less than $15, I was super excited! Then, when my dad asked what I wanted for Christmas, I knew immediately! Now I pass this great deal on to you this wintery Monday morning! Headed to the beach for Spring Break? Need a few easy gifts for friends? Need a winter pick me up? Look no further than these pretty, bright, Turkish Beach Towels!
Need a fashion fix? Well, while we are on the subject of pretty, bright, stripes- check out these links: I love this cover up so much, I can barely stand it. It would match my new swim suit! I also saw this top on, and I want it!
Happy Monday!

Love these! Would you ever consider using these in a kids or guest bathroom as an everyday bath towel?

Thanks for the comment! The question (in my mind) would be, could I get used to using a thinner bath towel? I have seen them sold as bath towels, so I know people do. Maybe try one and see? I hope this helps.

Great gift idea! Excited to know about these! Anything that makes that beach bag lighter is a plus!
Carly Lee says
Yes, exactly! Muah!

Are they so absorbent I could use them as an everyday towel? Or is it more for beach only time?
Carly Lee says
I think they are absorbent enough to use everyday. The question (in my mind) would be, could I get used to using a thinner bath towel? I have seen them sold as bath towels, so I know people do. Maybe try one and see? I hope this helps.

We are stuck in the aftermath of a blizzard in DC and your post put a summer smile on my face 🙂 – I discovered turkish towels also last summer and can’t praise them enough. I also would carry one in my bag in the summer to use as a shawl in cold restaurants or theaters. Very absorbent and they do get softer and lovelier with each washing! thanks for this post!
Carly Lee says
That blizzard was terrible, I saw it on the news! Using it as a shawl is such a great idea! Thank you!

Carly Lee says
Yes, no more complaining!
