First things first, I’d like to congratulate Stefanie C. for winning the $1,000 Nordstrom Gift Card! AHHHHHHHH! It’s so fun to giveaway $1000!!!!! Stefanie, I can’t wait for you to go shopping! Purse on the left (here), purse on the right (here)
I have tried to be very discerning when it comes what I put in these Nordstrom Anniversary Sale posts. There are a ton of things I like at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but if I wouldn’t buy it for myself or recommend it to a friend/client/sister/cousin/aunt, I don’t post it. I’m a little fanatical about it. It’s probably the perfectionist coming out in me, but I consider it an honor that you guys trust my opinion! Anyway, with that being said, there were a ton (A. TON.) of black jackets that were included in the #NSale, but I am only going recommend two.
I absolutely love this jacket! I love that there isn’t a ton of hardware on it. I love the waterfall front that drapes and makes points that define the waistline. I love that you can button it up at the top of your shoulder if you get cold. I love that it’s the leather and moto jacket look all in one, but it’s still sophisticated. I love that it’s super comfy, because the fabric is stretchy and allows for you to move your arms easily (unlike some leather jackets). Most importantly, I love the price!
My girlfriend was looking for a dressier black jacket that she could wear to meetings with a dress and also with jeans. She went with this one, and I love it! It has so many of the qualities I love about the first jacket (lack of hardware, flattering waterfall drape, button at the shoulder, comfortable), but this one comes in at the waist in the back, making it super flattering. P.S. If you are looking for a nice black blazer, I really like this one.
I didn’t buy this jacket, but I so want to. If you want a splurge, this is it. The suede is so stinkin’ soft. The fit is amazing. The color is so pretty. It would go with all different kinds of browns and blacks. Oh gosh, I think I just talked myself into buying this jacket. I’ll have it forever, right? It’s a staple, right? HAHAHAHA!
I love that Nadri is included in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. In my opinion, they make the best fake diamond stuff. OK, I should have said that in a fancier way, but that’s what came into my head. HA! Here are my favorites:
This bracelet is simple and pretty, with a little bit of edge (literally).
I’ve never seen an earring like this, and that’s why I love it. It’s so very unique. You can wear them when you’re casual or dressy.
Do y’all remember this bracelet from the Mother’s Day post? Well, now it’s $33 dollars cheaper!
Full disclosure, I do not need a pair of sunglasses (remember this post that was only two weeks ago?). Ha! But maybe you do! How fun is this line of sunglasses?! I loved all the fun designs in the line, so I tried them all on! Every time I tried one on, we were like, “ooooooo, ohhhhhh, and yassss!”.
SURPRISE!!!! I HAVE ANOTHER GIVEAWAY!!!! But first I have to tell you a story…
It’s after lunch on the second day of shopping. I’m tired, and I can’t wait to go home and see my boys. Shop till you drop took on a whole new meaning that day, because I stayed up until 2am writing my first #NSALE post for you guys. I had to! The shoes were already selling out! Ha! But you see, my bestie needed a dress. She was getting up in front of her congregation, and she needed a dress for it. She tried on all the dresses she picked out online, but none of them worked and she was feeling deflated. I could see it in her face. In that second, I woke up! I had this surge of energy go through me, because I had to find her a dress and she had to look fabulous! I don’t know what it is about me, but I love it when I see someone feel fabulous. It’s invigorating! Well, she tried on this dress…
….and I started freaking out! She looked so fabulous! So, of course, I had to buy it, too!
Then she tried on this dress, and we fell in love with this one, too! This isn’t the best representation of the dress (I’m holding it in the back), but you get the picture. I loved the neckline on this dress and all the seams going down the front that create a little fit and flare action. It’s so flattering.
Now this dress looked fabulous on my photographer. So fabulous, I took a picture of her twirling in it for fun! This dress is super duper cute and cozy. The material that it’s made of is so, so soft!
For me, this whole thing is about seeing other people happy and feeling confident and encouraged! When we found those two dresses for my girlfriend, I found myself wishing I could see you guys feeling the same way! I get so excited when you all send me little notes and pictures of yourselves! So that’s how this giveaway came about. All you have to do is take a picture and post it on FB or IG. For example: take a picture with your husband on a date night wearing the new jeans/earrings you purchased, post a picture of your new #NSale purchases that you’re excited about, or post a picture of the selfie you sent your girlfriend of the new boots you purchased, etc. Then all you have to do is two things: 1. tag me (on FB @cslstyle, on IG @cstyleblog), you don’t even have to say anything to me, 2. use the hashtag #cstyleinspo. I’m not going to put a whole lot of restrictions on this giveaway, so get creative! I’ll pick from your entries and give away $1000 worth of Nordstrom gift cards!
GOOD LUCK! I can’t wait to see your entries!
P. S. While working on this post I found out that these ear cuffs were not actually part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but I still wanted to share them with you.
I have never been able to get into the ear cuff trend until…. now. I am officially participating in the ear cuff trend because of this specific pair. They are so sophisticated and pretty for an ear cuff. Ear cuffs are usually very edgy, but these have just the right balance. Sold. I can’t wait to wear them to my husband’s birthday dinner this weekend. He will probably think they’re weird. HAHAHAHA!

Hi Carly, what vest are you wearing in the very first picture where you’re holding up the two pictures? I’m so into vests for this fall season! Thank you! xox
Carly Lee says
Hi Amanda, It’s by Leith. I purchased it last Fall. I looked for a similar for you, but I couldn’t find one.
Sheaffer says
WELL. You definitely convinced ME that you need that suede jacket! YOU’RE RIGHT! IT’S A STAPLE! YOU’LL HAVE IT FOREVER! And I would like to add that it looks like it was MADE FOR YOU. Just my two cents. Love you, friend!
Carly Lee says
AHHHHHHH! You are so convincing!
Lindsay Wagner says
Hi! What size are you wearing in the first jacket? Thanks!
Carly Lee says
Hi Lindsay! I think I’m wearing a zero. It’s super stretchy so if you are in between sizes, I’d size down.
Lisa says
Love all of your selections!
Carly Lee says
Hi Lisa! Thank you!

I love those earrings! So unique! I’ve been hoping to find some square hoops, is that even a thing? A friend has some that are hammered and they are super cute but she got them 1000 years ago. Any suggestions? Thanks, Carly!
Carly Lee says
Yes, it’s a thing because, I have seen them! But I can’t remember where! If I see a pair, I’ll let you know!
Shelley says
You’re great, thank you!! I tried to order the Nadri hoops above and they’ve sold out! Hopefully they will restock, I’m so in LOVE!! And that Vince suede jacket, OMG!!! Always love your suggestions!
Carly Lee says
I’m glad someone else feels the way I do about that Vince jacket! Thanks for your comment, Shelley!
