Splurge vs. Steal: The “It” Sunglasses of The Summer

A reader e-mailed me a couple of months ago inquiring about the sunglasses she saw on the Jenners. At the time, I wasn’t sure which sunglasses she was referring to, but within a couple of days it was clear. I was seeing the Dior ‘So Real’ sunglasses everywhere, and while they are darling (and I want them), they are on the expensive side. That’s why they don’t make sense for this klutz -ha! Now, if you take care of your sunglasses and can afford them, you should check out the Dior ‘So Real’ sunglasses. I mean, look how darling everyone looks in them! Even though the sunglasses didn’t make sense for me, I still really wanted them! So I started to look for a similar less expensive pair. Then Nordstrom asked me to check out their sunglasses to potentially share with you guys. That’s when I knew I wanted to go on the hunt for a really good steal version of the Dior ‘So Real’ sunglasses. And because Nordstrom makes it so easy return, I had 15 similar brow bar sunglasses sent to my house to try on. And I’m so glad I did, because look what a great steal version I found!

And now are you like, “Wait, I want to see them on”….

Boom! Don’t like the color I chose? Not to worry! There are 4 different colors.

Are you worried they’ll be too big for your face (A.P. This is for you)? Not to worry, they make them in a smaller size!

Are you worried that maybe you can’t pull off these sunglasses but would like something a little in similar? Well, I’ve got you covered! Now they’re making aviators with a bigger brow bar in similar fun ‘So Real’ colors! I went for grey.

Then my photographer tried them on…

…and I had to take a picture of her! They look even better on her! If you don’t like grey, they have other really fun colors.

They have them in black, too.

Well, I’ve never had so much fun writing a sunglasses post! They are all just so darling, fun, and colorful. I hope you find yourself a fun pair to sport during the dog days of summer!
