So, I didn’t post on Wednesday like I usually do (I try to post Monday, Wednesday and Friday). To be a “successful” blogger and to maintain your readership, it is said that you should post at least three times a week. Well, I just couldn’t this week, and although I was really frustrated and cranky over it for a day, I had to just let it go. Other things were more important. I had to fight to not pick up my old “hustling to be successful” ways. It wasn’t easy, but I did it! Yay, me! I guess I need to stick to my own definition of successful, right?
In an effort to keep from getting stressed, I thought it would be fun to do a “Fun Friday” post on what I’m loving right now. Like these spiders that look like they’re crawling up my house for Hallween! They’re about the easiest Halloween decorations EVER! I just stuck the wire legs into the back of the gutter to get them to stay.
On the gate, I bent the legs around the edges of the gate and the post. So far, they’ve stayed on.
The other night, all I had to make for dinner was sausage. Truly, that was it. I didn’t even have eggs. Well, I put it on a cutting board with cheese and crackers, and my boys loved it. Sometimes I make dinner too complicated- what a great epiphany!
I love my new cut, color, and style by RPM Creations! What is it about a good cut, color and style?!
When I read this quote, I felt it in my soul. I had tears in my eyes writing that.
Yup, I had tears in my eyes over this one, too. Doing work on my hurts was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I’m so glad I did. Do you follow the author of Love Does, Bob Goff, on Instagram? I’m all in.

How adorable is my blogging friend, Merritt Beck from the Style Scribe’s front door? I love that she told us the paint colors she used!
This is still one of my favorite books of all time! I cannot wait to see the movie!
My sister introduced me to artist Ners Neonlumberjack on Etsy (here) and on Instagram (here). How cool is this painted piece of wood?!
I love being a part of my friend Courtney Garret’s new Bible Study (podcast here). She shared this quote with us on Wednesday, and my eyes filled with tears. She then challenged us to straighten our friend’s crowns, too, and that’s when the waterworks started. P.S. I like this quote, but I’m not crazy about the pic. Hahaha!
Love this post. And I love you.
Your quotes and connection to Bible study reminded me of a quote I’ve been clinging to this week:
“He doesn’t always protect us from what He’s perfecting us through.”
I hope that’s an encouragement! You know I love everything you post!
I love this quote! Thank you for the encouragement!
Courtney’s quote has really stuck with me this week too. She’s so gifted and so are you!!
Love this post. Inspiring…thank you. Just purchased that book and can’t wait to start it. Your home is beautiful. Can you share the color white of the exterior of your house?
Hi! You are going to love the book! I used Snowbound by Sherwin Williams everywhere in my house, outside and inside! I hope this helps!
