I’m trying something new for November and December. This time of year is b-u-s-y for all of us. We have lots of events to attend, and we need outfit inspiration! Am I right? Am I the only one who STILL scrolls through Pinterest for outfit inspo? By the way, what happened to Pinterest? Did we get tired of all the perfectly styled 1-year-old birthday parties? Ha! Anyway, all that to say, sometimes I’m just looking for an outfit idea, and maybe you are, too. So, I thought I would mostly post outfits during the holiday months. I thought you might find it valuable, and I like doing it!
Now, I would really like to take these outfit pictures while out and about with pretty backgrounds, but daylight savings time and the lack of free time in November and December has messed up that plan. So in these posts, you’ll mostly see me in the corner of my kitchen. But as a reader once wrote to me, “We don’t need you traveling all over the world just to get outfit inspiration.” I think that’s pretty funny, and I agree!
Here’s what I wore to my friend’s 40th birthday celebration:
I loved wearing something other than the typical black pants I always wear to my friend 40th! Don’t get me wrong, I still wear my black pants all the time. But as I mentioned in my skirt post, I was looking for something a little different to get me out of my rut! It surprised me how warm the tights kept my legs. Yay! I’m in a serious moto jacket phase right now, and it was fun to bring a bit of edge to this ultra feminine look. It made me feel kinda hip. I could use that.
