Thank you all for being you. You blew me away with all of your kind comments after Friday’s “Marriage” post. Every time I write from the heart, you’re so supportive. Thank YOU! There is so much amazing good in this world, and y’all are living proof of that for me.
I have a confession to make. I never feel like I adequately respond to all the love, comments, and questions you all give me. Sometimes my words sound so trite. What I really want to do is give each one of you a BIG hug. I’d probably have tears in my eyes because, well, I’m a crier. I also try very hard to reply to everything, but sometimes I fail miserably at it. I am a terrible multi-tasker and a bit scatterbrained. I want you all to know that I read your comments and fully intend to respond to all of them, but then I usually forget because my boys come home and the afternoon activities start. Once my boys are home, I try not to work. It’s a commitment I made to myself not too long ago when I was hustling hard. I realized that I can’t remember everything or do it all, and I’ve made peace with that. So if you’ve ever commented or asked a question and I haven’t gotten back to you, it’s not you, it’s me. My dad and close friends just text me a second time. Ha!
All that to say, a reader asked if I could share the different ways I’ve worn my new moto jacket from my “Favorite Finds: Fall 2017” post. I wish I could tell you where this reader asked me this, but I have no idea. 😳
Here are the different ways I’ve worn my moto jacket:
The picture at the beginning of the post is a casual, everyday outfit. I paired the jacket with my suede booties and suede bag. I like how they compliment each other but aren’t the same type of leather.

Pairing a moto jacket with sneakers is my new favorite way to look and feel cool. Ha! I feel like it made my typical t-shirt-jeans-and-sneaker-look more hip. I thought it was fun to let the ties on this sweater (also from my “Favorite Finds” post) hang out of the jacket.

Here, I’m wearing the moto jacket with the most versatile black pants in the world (they are pretty much workout pants) for a hip, athleisure look.

And here, I wore the black jacket over my shoulders with a grey v-neck t-shirt and my new cropped flare jeans (also from my “Favorite Finds” post). The jacket and the cropped jeans really updated this typical look for me.

We are expecting cool weather here in Houston again, so I’m guessing you know what I’ll be wearing!

Hello! I noticed on your Fall Finds post that you bought the Topshop moto jacket in size small, but it comes in number sizes (2, 4, 6, etc.). Does yours note a number size? Thank you!

Hi, My jacket is a US 4. Topshop runs small. I’m usually a 0 or 2. I hope this helps!
