Recently, I hit the jackpot during a brief shopping trip, so of course, I had to share! I say jackpot because I found a cute top to wear with leggings (one that actually covers) AND cotton sweaters (breathable and not itchy)! Why are both of these so hard to find?!?
Alright, without further ado, first up is the top to wear with leggings because let’s be honest, THIS is what we want to really wear most. Ha!
It covers both the front and back, and I love that it’s not the typical v-neck. I’m just sayin’. Also, it’s important to get the smallest size you can in this shirt. I’ll show you why. Above I am in an XS, and…
…here I am in the S. The XS looks better, right? This is my number 1 style tip, always opt for the size down when you can.
I don’t know what it is with me, but I can’t stand even a twinge of itch in my clothing anymore. All I can think the entire time is, “When can I take this itchy thing off?!” For this reason, I searched for “cotton sweaters” on Nordstrom. Unfortunately, I didn’t find much, but then I hit the jackpot and found two cotton sweaters:
I love this cotton cable knit, marled sweater so much that I had to get it in gray and…
…cream. I love the fit of these sweaters. They’re not too bulky, and most importantly, they’re not itchy! I’m wearing an XS in both pictures.
Now, I have to admit, I am a total sucker for rainbows, color, and anything that says “love”. I should have been a flower child.
Anyway, when I saw this sweater, I had to have it. Now, this is one of those items that I know I will probably only get one season out of, and I’m ok with that. What I mean to say is, this is not a classic staple piece. This is just a fun piece! This sweater is a cotton blend and does not contain wool. I’m wearing an XS.
Ok, you know what else is a fun piece that I just fell in love with?
Yup, these cute lounge pants! I actually wear lounge pants all the time when I’m at home! Now, these have 20% merino wool, but I couldn’t feel it so I bought them. I even tested them out by wearing them outside when it was hot, and they did not itch. I’m keeping them! I’m wearing an XS.
