I was working with a client recently, and while we were putting outfits together, we started to layer some gold necklaces. I’m talking laaayyyyeeerrrr — like when you think it’s enough, add one more. We both fell in love with the look, and it inspired this outfit.
Then my client said, in so many words, that she loves the look because she felt like it was something you wouldn’t normally think to do. Well, maybe some people would, but we were so proud of ourselves and our styling that I wanted to share!
For instance, look at the picture above and imagine it without the gold necklaces. It’s cute, but the necklaces (in my opinion) make the outfit. So, the next time you’re getting fancy, layer your gold necklaces for a little extra pizazz (yes, I really just used the word pizazz -ha!). It is unexpected, and I bet you’ll get LOTS of compliments. And who doesn’t love a compliment?!

SO cute! I would NEVER have layered necklace two years ago…and now I just PILE ‘EM ON! Today I’m wearing my signature necklace and my Kimberly necklace..both are pretty bold, but I paired them together anyway! And your earrings? DYING! LOVE THEM SOOOOOO MUCH!

I ordered the jacket after seeing this too. It came on Friday and I wore it last night to a party with Rock n Roll casual dress code, it worked great and fit great! Plus it came lickety spilt from Anthopologie.
