Is this not the cutest stationery you’ve ever seen?!?! It’s bright, whimsical and perfect for so many occasions, which is why I’m so excited to be teaming up with Caitlin Peters Design for a GIVEAWAY on Instagram! She is giving away a set of calling cards and a set of stationery to TWO lucky winners! Head to Instagram for the details!
My gift wrapping just got a thousand times easier with her cute calling cards.
This book is short but impactful! It gave me a major boost and was just the kick in the pants I needed -ha!

Have y’all heard Lauren Daigle’s new song?!? I shared it on Instagram after my sis sent it to me (she knew I’d love it), and then my friend started playing it during our cool down at our excercise class. I got tears in my eyes right then in there. This songs lyrics get me everytime. Here are the lyrics…
The lyric that has really hit home to me the past few weeks is, “Am I more than just the sum of every high and every low?”
Favorite New Recipe:
Recently, my husband and I had the best guacamole at a friend’s house! Frankly, I was a bit surprised by it because there were no tomatoes or onions. We loved it so much, I texted her for the recipe. And guess what? It only has 5 ingredients!
Emily’s Guacamole Recipe (Or should it be called 5 Ingredient Guacamole? Or should it be called Most Delicious Guacamole Ever!). Gosh, I”m starting to feel like this amazing guacamole deserves a post all by itself!
“Lime, garlic salt, pepper, cumin and fresh cilantro (if you have it). All to taste. Cumin is key.”
Favorite Food in Houston:
Speaking of food, I shared my husband’s and my favorite food spots with PaperCity Magazine in the “Houston’s Best Bloggers Reveal Their Favorite City Picks” article.
Here’s what I shared:
“My husband and I are both native Houstonians and foodies. We love to find spots to add to our growing list of the best-of-the-best food in Houston! This list is what I consider the must-do (or shall I say, must-eats) in Houston.
“For the best bread, mussels, and french fries, Café Rabelais in Rice Village. For the best filet beef fajitas and margaritas, El Tiempo. For the best fall-off-the-bone ribs and brownie a la mode, Houston’s. For the best sushi, Kata Robata. For the best pork breakfast tacos, Buffalo Grille on Bissonett. For the best grilled chicken pita and smoothies, Island Grill. For the best ceviche, Goode Co. Seafood. For the best table side guacamole, Escalante’s on Westheimer.
“Suddenly, I’m very hungry. I wonder why…”
That last line is so dorky! Hahahaha!
So, you have to print out pictures for a project…
…well, this at home printer makes school projects so easy! I was reminded of how much I love this thing with all the back to school projects. I didn’t have to go to the CVS processing center! MOM WIN!
