Easy Hair Hack To Instantly Change Your Look

This is not some weird blogger selfie. It may look like it, but I swear it’s not. See, I’m not making pouty lips, bedroom eyes or some kind of pucker of the lips (hahahaha!). This is just me showing you my new hair trick, and I really can’t do that without taking a selfie.

I am loving the hair flip! Remember it from the 80’s? Well, it was cute then, and it’s cute now! The hair flip saved me over the break. When my hair looked a hot mess, I’d just flip it and it looked cute! Plus, I felt like it took all of my everyday outfits up a notch! And the best part is that anyone can do it! Just change your part and see what happens!

Long story short (or long story long -ha!), I got a new, shorter haircut (by the very best hairstylist, Robert Moore at K. Renee Salon) before the break. The cut reminded me of this picture I saw on Pinterest…

So for Christmas Eve service, I decided to try and emulate it.

It’s not exactly the same, but it’s close (kinda -ha!). Regardless, It was fun to be inspired.

While we were at church, my friend commented on the side part and how she liked it. Then I started doing the side flip whenever my hair was feeling a little drab!

And get this!!!! The friend who saw my side part at Christmas Eve service is parting her hair slightly in the middle after years of wearing it to the side, and she’s getting lots of compliments at work.

How easy is that?!? Just change up your part a bit for a fun new look!!

P.S. I don’t have product in my hair in these pictures. I’d say most of the look is because of the cut Robert gave me, but I did use my favorite shampoo and conditioner and I cannot live without my brush! My hair tangles badly, so this is the only brush I use!
