I can’t wait to show you all what I found while out and about shopping! There are some really great finds in this post. I describe how I envision wearing each item to give you all some ideas. If you think of another fun way to wear an item, be sure to comment below!
Here’s a close-up of the top in picture above. So far, I’ve worn it tucked in with shorts and with my flare jeans (from this post) and flip flops for a girl’s night out. This top would be flattering on so many because it gives a waistline without being overly tight. Apparently, I’m not the only one who loves this top, check out the reviews!
Top- Free People (also comes in purple!). I’m wearing an xs.
Here’s a close-up on the shorts I can’t stop wearing! This is my compromise for the paper bag short that is so on trend. I don’t feel comfortable in the large belt loops and the over flow of fabric, so these are perfect (that’s just me. I ‘ve seen a lot of people look darling in them.) Anyway, how cute is the tie? I like that I can wear these dressy (top pictures) and casually (with a tee, below).
Oh, and they come in tan!!!!
Shorts- Free People, I’m wearing a 0.
What’s summer without a pretty, easy top to wear with jeans and shorts?! I loved the neckline and sleeves on this one!
Top- Free People, I’m wearing an xs.
This is the purchase I’m most excited about from this post! I am forever trying to find hats that I feel comfortable in by the pool, beach, lake that fit my big head (not too big, not too golf looking, not too over the top). This visor is so chicI! Plus, I love a visor because I can still wear my hair up and let it pop out the back!

If you’re headed somewhere cool this summer, first, take me with you. Second, take me with you and wear this cute sweater! I love this bright, colorful sweater as a summer sweater! Pair it with jeans or shorts and espadrilles for a fun, casual summer look for cool weather.
Sweater- J. Crew, I’m wearing an xs.
I almost didn’t buy this next top because it didn’t have any fun spring/summer vibes going on. But, I was drawn to the color, and I knew, as a stylist, how versatile this top could be in my closet. I envisioned wearing it to client appointments just as easily as wearing it on date nights or to church. I decided I could make it fun and happy by adding my own fun accessories! And I’m happy to say, I’ve worn it 3 times this week.
Top- J. Crew, I’m wearing an xs.
I am a sucker for statement earrings. For someone who enjoys wearing a lot of basic staples, statement earrings are a fun way for me to jazz up an outfit without breaking the bank. I guess I’d rather spend money on a statement earring than an expensive printed top that I know I’ll get sick of.

After wearing my favorite white v-neck t-shirt 4 days in a row, I decided I need a few more white t-shirt options. When I saw the simplicity of this sleeveless white tee, I knew it would go with so much! I could tuck it into my favorite shorts for the summer or wear it with a skirt and espadrilles. I know I’ll wear it with a fun, statement necklace, too! I like that it’s not see through. If you live in Houston, you can find this top at French Cuff!
Tee – VINCE, I’m wearing an xs. If you live in Houston, you can find this top at French Cuff!
How cute are the ties on the sleeve of this white tee? I also like the easy drape of it. I bought this white tee for the same reason I bought the above tee. I just wear white tees so much, and I thought the sleeve detail was just too cute! If you live in Houston, you can find this top at French Cuff!
Tee- James (couldn’t find online), I’m wearing an xs. If you live in Houston, you can find this top at French Cuff!
And here’s a dressier white v-neck top for when I really want to wear my white v-neck tee, but I need to be a little dressier than a tee.
Tee- Lillia P, I’m wearing an xs. If you live in Houston, you can find this top at French Cuff!
I wore my light grey jeans so much, I wore a whole in the crotch. Eeeeek. TMI? There is something about light grey denim. It just goes with everything in my closet! It also gives new life to my tops from last year that I would typically wear my white or blue jeans with. I loved the color and fit of these! These are a mid rise, so they’re not too low and not too high.
Denim- DL 1961, these run tts. If you live in Houston, you can find them at French Cuff!
The easiest way to dress up any outfit is to add a blazer! I’m loving this white blazer from J. Crew. It really has an elongating effect, which as a stylist, you’re always on the look out for! Plus, it’s a nice weight and doesn’t wrinkle easily. Put it over a dress, put it over a tee, pair it with shorts, pair it with a skirt. It’s that versatile!
Blazer- J. Crew, I’m wearing a 0.
This next top had me at “marled.” No, t-shirt. No, not see through. No, easy. I told my sister this is the perfect top for a casual night out when you are going to a cold restaurant and want to be cozy and warm yet still cool when you step outside. I bought the black and white marled.
Top- Madewell, I’m wearing an xxs.
