This summer, I started utilizing a very simple one minute style hack that has opened up a whole new world of clothing options for me. I love pretty v-neck tops, but most of them are way too low cut for me. I usually have to rely on the v hitting me at just the right spot or hoping the hook-and-eye or snap is in just the right place. Well, not anymore!!! I fell in love with this top, but it was completely open, and I know me- a camisole is not an option in this summer heat. So, I dug into my closet for my little emergency sewing kit, grabbed the white thread and needle, and did a simple tack stitch exactly where I wanted it. It took me less than a minute. No joke. And now, I get to wear this pretty top without having to wear a camisole or fear I’m flashing someone! Now, when I see a pretty low cut top, I don’t shy away from it!
Here’s the back of my perfectly imperfect tack stitch.
Why didn’t I think of doing this earlier?!?
