I’ve been seeing one trend over and over (and over) again. I’ve seen it so much, it’s hard not to take notice! Sneakers with dresses and skirts is EVERYWHERE! It makes a lot of sense, as trends normally do. Our society is becoming more casual as a whole -casual dress codes are more common and athleisure isn’t just for college campuses anymore. Not to mention, the sneaker industry is booming! According to the WSJ, the sneaker industry hit $44 billion in sales last year in the U.S.! I, for one, wear jeans so much, I’ve started to challenge myself to not wear them as often. And with this new trend, it seems that I’m not the only one! Wearing sneakers with skirts and dresses opens up a whole new world of outfit options! I started a Pinterest Board called Sneakers with Skirts and Dresses Outfit Ideas for some inspo.
