This is the best Nordstrom Anniversary Sale yet! Maybe it’s because I’m shopping it with my aunt, or maybe it’s because I didn’t get to really shop, shop last year, or maybe it’s because I’m shopping it at the Dallas Nordstrom (which has a bigger selection?). I’m not sure why it’s so good, but it’s good, and I can’t wait to share my finds with you guys!!! As I said in my first Nordstrom Anniversary Sale post, I like to be intentional when I shop SALES. I don’t buy it because it’s on sale. I have to really like it, and it has to make sense to add to my closet.
Am I the only one who is loving the color pink? Long story short, in recent years, I bought both a pink purse and pink headband thinking I might not be able to wear them a lot, but I bought them anyway because they were too cute to pass up! Well, I ended up wearing them all the time! I learned pink is a neutral! It goes with everything!!!!
My white Ultraboost are the most comfortable sneaker I own! My aunt said these were the most comfortable sneaker she has ever put on. I’m pretty sure they are going to sell out quick, so get them before they’re gone.
I’ve been needing updated dressier booties! I’ve had my VINCE block heeled ones for years (and I’ll continue to wear them because they are still in style), but I wanted something a little more streamlined. I was so excited to see these VERONICA BEARD booties on SALE!!!
Wear them with jeans (as seen in the picture), wear them with dresses and skirts, wear them with pants…. And I love that they are not extremely high, which makes them way more wearable and functional.
If you are looking for something similar but prefer a block heel check these out. It’s a really great brand at a really great price.
Move over same-ole, same-ole booties and riding boots! The new boot look of the season is a lug soled black Chelsea boots! And I’m here for it! It’s that Doc Marten look from the 90’s, you know? We wore them with shorts, sundresses and jeans, a la Madonna. I know this may feel like a stretch, but this is what I love about my job- staying current in a way that feels like me (and my clients)! And these do just that for me! Practically every brand included in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is doing some kind of Chelsea boot like this (Tory Burch, Paul Green, Dr. Scholls, Karl Lagerfeld). What I like about this boot is they look expensive, but they are Steve Madden. So I get to try out the trend without too much commitment!
Here’s the other Chelsea boots from the sale I had my eye on…
Did you find one that feels like you? Order it and wear it around the house to get a feel for it. See if you can have fun pushing yourself a bit. I can’t wait to wear my Steve Madden boots with dresses! Do that whole edgy, feminine look!
My aunt is doing the lug soled Chelsea boot look with these Sorels! I love them! She likes the height, and these feel more like her. I also like this option for colder climates, since they are WATERPROOF! I have a lot of clients who go skiing and few who have second homes in colder climates, and these would be perfect! You get the updated lug soled Chelsea boot look to wear with jeans and dresses all while being waterproof! Sounds like a winner!
I really want these waterproof lug sole high tops. I mean, how cute would these be with skinny jeans and a sweater or leggings?!
Here are the other shoes I had my eye on from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale…
And while I was there, my aunt found these sandals on the table right behind where we were sitting. It was meant to be! Ha! But seriously, they are so classic and sweet at the same time. I couldn’t pass them up….
Sandals- Rag & Bone
Don’t they look classically Parisian, or am I crazy?
Outfit links- Jeans- Mother (same style different wash), Shirt- FRAME, Headband- Lele Sadoughi, Earrings- Here for similar, Bracelets- Espacio Pop-up

Sounds like you had a great shopping day with your Aunt! Would you be willing to share info on your espadrilles?

Hi Joan, They are by Vince Camuto. They are a couple of years old, but I recently saw them on HSN. I hope this helps!
