Trend Alert: Crossbody Clutch

While we are on the subject of clutches (last post), I am loving the crossbody clutch trend. Here’s why, you know how clutches can become a little cumbersome after holding it under your arm for an entire party? If you’re like me, you end up leaving it at a table and just hoping it’s there when you get back. Then you have to try and keep track of where you put your purse all night!

So, when I saw this Rebecca Minkoff convertible crossbody/shoulder clutch, I started to think about the concept of a clutch that goes crossbody… now this is GENIUS!! And then I started to see them everywhere…

I had to include my very favorite crossbody clutch as a total splurge item. It’s no secret that I have a particular penchant for the Stella McCartney crossbody bags. To me, her chain detail around the edge will become like the quilting on a Chanel bag and the detail will stand the test of time. I could see having this purse 40 years from now and wearing it with total excitement. Well, what can I say, us girls love our shoes and our bags!
