Foolproof Gift for Everyone on Your List

Before we knock out everyone special on your Christmas list in one post (yes, this gift is that good), I just have to tell you all how unexpected and sweet your comments were on Wednesday’s post. What is the one thing all these pictures have in common? Yup, the same Ray-Ban sunglasses! Can you all believe this collage is not even the half of the pictures? I had many more that I didn’t include! And this is only a collage of my most recent pair! I also had the “New Large Wayfarers” (now 25% off) that I used to wear all the time (remember?), and I had tons of pictures of those, too-here, here and here. And when I first started the blog, I wore and loved my Aviators (eeek- look if you must – here)! Obviously, I’m a huge fan of Ray-Ban and Nordstrom. The selection of Ray-Bans at Nordstrom is great and so many are on sale right now!  I would happily be wearing all of these sunglasses to this day (because they are still all “in style”), but… I’ve lost every single pair. I cringe as I write this. It’s embarrassing. Don’t judge. I’m a terribly absent minded person. It’s not that I’m ditzy, I’m just forgetful. I wish I could tell you how I lost them, but I have no idea.

Now this, my friends, is why Ray-Ban sunglasses are your foolproof Christmas gift for the special ones in your life: Every single pair of those sunglasses are still in style. This is precisely why I went on the search for another pair! I decided I wanted to go back to their classic Wayfarers after seeing them everywhere on a recent trip to Chicago (post here).

Wayfarers just make sense! They are, as I’ve said before, a reasonably priced pair of designer sunglasses (as opposed to the $500+). In this picture I’m wearing these.

They are good quality, and they have the polarized option (important for the sportsmen in your life). They come in lots of different FUN! options, like this pair that’s covered in the same type of leather on a football. In this picture I’m wearing these.

But most importantly, they are classic and universally flattering on everyone- including men! This is precisely why my father-in-law’s girlfriend gave him her old Ray-Bans to wear! Yes, you heard me right! It’s the one pair of sunglasses I would tell you to keep if I was going through your sunglass collection, because they stand the test of time! Update your husbands, father’s, and father-in-laws sunglass game! Let’s be honest, most guys don’t intentionally go out and buy sunglasses, which makes them a great gift! They will feel cool, and you will have 3 people checked off your list! In the picture my husband is wearing these from the women’s department. 🙂
