10 Staples For The Spring

Last week I was honored to share the stage with Free The Captives for a luncheon at the Junior League of Houston. I shared what I thought were the 10 staples for the spring, and I thought it would be helpful to share with you all, too. This way you can pinpoint the holes you have in your own wardrobe and avoid buying things you already have or don’t need. I also shared what was trending in each category, how I was choosing to follow the trend, and how trends are a choice. You don’t have to follow a trend if you don’t like it! Obviously! Ha!

10 STAPLES FOR THE SPRING:

At each place setting were quotes on style and fashion. The first quote received applause, and it warmed my heart. I knew I was in the company of kindred spirits. I started the talk with these two quotes because they seemed to sum up the gist of my style. I approach style from the inside out (based on my own personal struggles, brief synopsis here), and my style is practical.
