You all know I love a good Splurge vs. Steal, and I have a really good one for you today! It’s not fashion or clothes; it’s actually for the home! My husband and I have a really amazing Matouk duvet cover and pillows that we love (pictured above). I’m in the process of redoing my boy’s rooms, and I found a really good steal version the Matouk bedding because I did not want to pay Matouk prices for my boy’s rooms!
Duvet cover & shams: Matouk, Coverlet: John Robshaw, Lamps: Kelly Wearstler, Bedside Tables- Lone Ranger Antiques, Plant- Lam Bespoke , Art- for similar here, Mirror- Leftovers Antiques, Custom Headboard covered in Pindler & Pindler Bellagio Midnight Fabric, Bench- William Sonoma Home Fairfax Bench reupholstered in Pindler & Pindler Bellagio Midnight Fabric
Here is a close up of the “steal” version I’m using on my boy’s beds. There are a few minor differences I see vs. the Matouk, but they really are minor. Because I’m a perfectionist, I noticed you can *slightly* tell where the machine stitching stops and starts (you can see this where I’ve added arrows on the images below). Also, the flange on the shams is smaller on the “steal” than the Matouk. (see picture below).
Duvet Cover: Charlton Home, Euro Shams: Flavia, Down Comforter: Alwyn Home
That’s a pretty good steal, don’t you think?! Do you have a splurge vs. steal?! Send it to me! Let’s keep the fun going!
