Today’s teenage boy gift guide is brought to us by my godson, Miller — a Junior in high school who loves basketball! I have 2 teenage boys, but I still struggle with gift ideas for them, so I needed this gift guide! Thank you, Miller!
From top left: Backpack: Nike, Sandals: Birkenstocks, Running Shoes: Adidas, Cologne: CREED, Jacket: Nike, Slides: Adidas, Sweatshirt: ESSENTIALS, LED Lights: Amazon, Slippers: UGG, Headphones: Sony, Socks: Nike, Guitar: Amazon, Speaker: JBL.
Backpack: Nike
If you’ve ever tried to fit a basketball in a normal gym bag or backpack, then you get why this backpack makes sense! It fits a basketball and then some, like a water bottle, laptop and gym clothes.
LED Lights: Amazon
Both my boys have LED lights in their rooms. If the teenager in your life doesn’t already have led lights in his room, this is a pretty sure bet!
Speaker: JBL
The easiest and most simple gift that everyone likes!
Slides: Adidas
You may have seen these before, but from what I understand, this graphite color is the new rage!
Guitar: Yamaha on Amazon or Taylor on Amazon
Miller specifically asked for the Yamaha guitar, but my guitar loving husband told me the Taylor GS Mini is where it’s at. But maybe the teen in your life isn’t into guitars, so let this serve as an idea to get more gear for his favorite hobby.
Socks: Nike
How easy and needed is this gift?
Sweatshirt: ESSENTIALS
My son has an Essentials hoodie and wears it a ton! Miller requested black, but my son has this grey one. I don’t think you can go wrong.
Sandals: Birkenstocks
Miller did not request these, but one of my sons did. The teenage boys like to wear these sandals with white socks. They look pretty cute in them, but I’m a little biased. Plus, they are good quality and comfy!
Cologne: CREED
I’m here for this cologne trend for the teenage boys. I love smelling all the different ones my boys bring home samples of, and I love smelling all the different scents their friends are wearing. Sure does beat b.o. -amirite? I linked CREED because it is a sure bet.
Slippers: UGG
I don’t know if you’ve seen this new trend, but they basically wear these slippers like shoes– even to school. These I don’t think look so cute, but no teenager really cares what some 40 something mom thinks -ha!
Jacket: Nike
We bought our boys Nike Tech last Christmas, and come to think of it, they’re the only pants they wear -ha! So I guess it was a good gift!
Headphones: Sony
Of course Air Pods are always a good idea, but Miller liked these. I can see it being a whole look. Plus, they are comfy and noise cancelling. Am I the only one who finds Air Pods uncomfortable?
Running Shoes: Adidas
I think my son is on his 5th pair of Ultraboosts. Not because they are bad quality, but because he loves them so much that he just keeps buying them over and over again!
